Traditional Long Haar by Manjula Jewels

In a world today, where the choker fascination has reached the next level, to a point where our eyes are made to believe the non-existence of anything else, Manjula Jewellers have something in store for you. For people, who are looking to step back from Chokers and go on an exploration of longer neck piece to add to their wardrobe, this is where your hunt ends. Here is a collection of long haar as it is traditionally called. The three designs showcased here are unique form each other in its make, look and feel.

These can also be paired with Choker necklace too if you are looking for a heavier look. They follow different kinds of kaarigari and theme to suit varied preferences. Let's look at it one by one.

To begin with, we have a culture-driven themed haar. The craft here is called the Pachi work famous in Rajasthan- the northern part of India. Studded with flat diamond, it has a glitzy vibe to it balanced with some nakshi work. The pendant has carvings of Ram-Sita. The craftsmanship on this piece is very artistic driven yet it gives a very simple look to it. It is a great wear to match with a plain silk saree or a salwar kameez. For mothers, who root for some archaic style of jewellery this is sure to impress them.

Talking about long chains how can the kasu Mala be forgotten. It is one of the popular styles depicted especially in long chains. The Kasumala in the picture below has a vintage vibe going with it. The most favorite piece of the south, it has golden coins intertwined together closely rounding around the neck. To make it heavier two more layers are to be seen. the innermost layer resembles the motis while the second intact layer before the kasu mala layout begins is a carved structural layer.

This opulence of this Raani haar is in the intricate detailing of the studded diamonds placed in a creeper design. The lines that resemble creepers hold the diamonds together making it look extraordinary. The blend between the modernity of this necklace and the royale classic touch is created with golden Moti work and the Patakam design work.
